Before you begin the Temple of the Eye quest, you need to ensure you meet the following requirements:

Quests:
A Soul's Bane: You must have completed the A Soul's Bane quest, which introduces you to the mysterious Shamanic cult and serves as the precursor to this quest.
Items:
Axe (preferably a bronze or better): Needed for some of the quest steps.
Pickaxe: You'll need this to mine during some steps.
Teleportation runes or items: Familiarity with teleports like the Amulet of Glory or Varrock Teleport may be helpful.
A variety of potions: It's wise to bring supplies like prayer potions, food, and anti-poison potions, as some segments of the quest will involve combat and poison.
Starting the Quest
To begin the Temple of the Eye quest, head to The Temple of Ikov, which is located to the north-east of Taverley. If you're unfamiliar with the location, the Temple of Ikov is accessible by traveling west of the Shilo Village, near the Shilo River. The entrance to the temple is just outside a large temple building.
